FAQs

What should I wear/bring to the sessions? 

For hygiene reasons, you are recommended to bring your own gloves, however, please get in touch if you need to borrow gloves for your first session so we can ensure availability. After this, you can pick some up for around £20-25 - please get in touch if you need help choosing gloves. You will also need a water bottle and a sweat towel is also recommended. Hand wraps are optional but recommended - you will be taught how to put them on. Wear something comfortable, breathable and easy to move in. We recommend shorts and t-shirts but you can also wear leggings if that is more comfortable for you. Please note that you must be barefoot in classes, if this is a problem, please get in touch.

Where are classes held?

Classes are held at Langford Village Hall on Thursdays at 8.00pm-9.00pm. The first session will be Thursday 11th January 2024. The last session of this bootcamp will be Thursday 14th March. Please arrive 5 minutes before the session begins.

What level are classes suitable for?

Classes are suitable for all fitness and Muay Thai levels. If you have previous Muay Thai experience, please get in touch to let us know. 

What is the structure of a typical session?

  • Warm up - Shadow boxing or skipping, dynamic stretching

  • Muay Thai padwork, striking & self defence drills 

  • Conditioning circuit/core training

  • Stretching/cooldown

Do you offer 1-1 training?

If you would prefer to train 1-1 or small group sessions, I am available for Mobile Personal Training/Muay Thai in Bicester if you have a suitable space to train from in your house or garden. Please get in touch if this is something you are interested in.
