PADWORK
FITNESS
STRETCH & BREATHE
Work with a partner holding and hitting pads. Learn to box, kick, knee and elbow. Your will learn correct technique, stance, guard and self-defence drills.
Padwork will be followed by a strength and conditioning circuit to really get you fighting fit.
We will finish by stretching help return muscles to pre exercise length and develop flexibility.
The Story
I’m Karen, owner of the Hit Club. Almost 20 years ago I walked into my first Muay Thai class with a goal to get fit and learn self-defence.
I came out with that and so much more. I found a passion and a community. I was challenged in every session to be fitter, faster, stronger and more technical than before. All with a group of people who had my back , who pushed me when I needed to be pushed and who were there to pull me up from the canvas when I was down.
In my teenage years I spent the majority of my time in the gym, honing my skills and competing at a high level as a junior in the sport.
As an adult, I no longer compete in Muay Thai, instead, I have channeled my passion into the Hit Club with a vision to create a community of woman who will inspire each other through Muay Thai and fitness.
The Vision
The Hit Club aims to create an inclusive community of women who will build each other up to be badass Muay Thai Warriors! Inspiring, encouraging and motivating each other through fitness and martial arts.
At Hit Club you will learn to train like a fighter (without actually fighting) via padwork drills and circuit training. You will be taught how to hit with correct technique and will gradually unleash your inner warrior by getting fitter, faster, stronger and more technical with each session.
